about julian
Julian is the man “behind the curtain” at SA SKYDIVING. He has one of the most important jobs behind the scenes, packing our parachutes. He has been packing parachutes for over 20 years and skydiving for over 28 years. In this time, he has packed over 38,000 parachutes! Julian has won bronze medal at the 2-way comp and silver medal in the 4-way competition at State Competitions. Also, he has competed in the Australian World Meet 10 way, Speed Star plus 33-way SA formation record.
As well as his packing skills, Julian was also a freefall photographer, Instructer D and had involvment in the display jumping in South Australia. His memorable jump was into Vicroria Racecourse, city!
You may recognise him in his UGG boots, hanging off the strut of the plane on first load – enjoying his “coffee jump” before a big day of packing chutes.
