angles skills camp

.

event article

Closing off the last weekend with the beautiful Beaver aircraft, we hosted our Angles Skills camp. We was fortunate to gain access to two extremely talented flyers to come over and share their knowledge with our local South Australian sports skydivers.

We had Amy Jamieson sent over from iFLY Downunder & XRG Flight Club, a partnership we are very lucky to have. She shared lots of  useful insights to the pathways and benefits indoor skydiving can offer to sports skydiving development.

Lastly we had the guru Ryan Dudderidge from Burnperspective shredding the skies of South Australia and introducing some new dynamic flows to the groups.

Massive thanks to the SASPC & SAPC for their continued support with sports skydiving in South Australia.

SA skydiving knows how to put on an event! The angels skills camp saw a massive progression of angle flying from a 4 epic groups. Consistent jumps with proper briefs and debriefs is huge to the progression of skydivers, especially the newer flyers. Thanks SA skydiving for hosting the event and contributing to the development of the sport. Thanks to all the participants for putting the work in and being legends to jump with!

RYAN DUDDERIDGE - BURN

It was great to finally get one of the BURN crew over to South Australia for an angles skills camp. It was Ryan Dudderidge’s first time at SA Skydiving and he was stoked to share all his knowledge with the crew. We had 4 groups, ranging in skill level from experienced to beginner, working on exits, head levels, transitions, speed, body position and much more. For some this was their first introduction to movement, and seeing all the smiles, it looks like they had an awesome time.
